Gideon’s teaching philosophy and strategy:

Making Comics is like Making a Movie

Think like a director: learn structure, anatomy, and facial expression to turn your characters into believable and relatable actors.

Think like a cinematographer: use tools and techniques like camera angle, perspective, and light & shadow to create compelling scenes and improve storytelling clarity.

01

Perspective, Reinvented
A new understanding of a complex subject that will enable you to mimic the cinematography of your favorite movies. Perspective is more than just grids and vanishing points. It is a set of tools, many of them simple and easy to use, that can add clarity and enhance drama in any scene.

02

Making comics is easy…
…if you know the tools and tricks of the trade. I’ll help you learn everything you need to know in order to tell your own story, regardless of the style or genre you want to work in.
