Waiting for my goat…

July 31st, 2009

…curry, that is. As I waited in the pleasantly refurbished dining room of Madina, the Pakistani restaurant around the corner from my house here in the Kensington neighborhood of Brooklyn, as the flat screen TV flashed the sensory overload glamour and silliness of Bollywood music videos, I fidgeted and looked for something to occupy my time and expend some nervous energy. I found the lightswitch:

Back from vacation

July 27th, 2009

My week at the Jersey shore is in the books. Back in the studio with many new deadlines looming, but I hope to maintain my summer schedule of posting at least one drawing a week until September when I’ll resume daily postings. Here is a drawing that pretty much sums up what I did on my vacation:

Summer Hours

July 1st, 2009

I’ve been getting all stressed out about not keeping up with daily drawings lately. I’ve been real busy with freelance work and looming on the horizon are extended summer trips, so I’ve decided to go to a summer schedule: I will be posting one drawing a week, most likely on mondays, for the rest of the summer.
