These drawings are a collaboration between myself, my wife, Julie Peppito, and sometimes my son.  They are printed on recycled paper, using eco-friendly inks and wind power by the nice folks at Rolling Press in Brooklyn, NY.

Our process usually goes something like this: One of us starts by either making a few small elements or some bigger simple lines to suggest a structure. Then we pass it back and forth until we decide it's done. There are two rules: No criticizing the other person's decisions and there is no such thing as a mistake. 

Microns, Pentel Technica and Pental Energel needle tips are our tools of choice. 

They are almost completely improvised, with only minimal pencil sketching if any. A few have digital touch-ups to improve the coloring experience and/or to remove beverage stains.
